The firm has extensive experience in advising and assisting clients to protect their intellectual property. We assist our clients in obtaining trademark rights and community trademarks from the UK Intellectual Property Office and the European Union IPO (formerly OHIM).  We also regularly advise on intellectual property rights protectable by copyright, design or trade secrets and confidential information.   

We also act for clients in court proceedings in relation to infringement and passing off disputes. 

Examples of our recent work for clients: 

• advising a UK energy drinks manufacturer in its dispute against giant Red Bull GMBH, following infringement proceedings in the High Court, and subsequent proceedings in the European Court arising out of trademark opposition proceedings.  
• successfully advised one of India’s biggest conglomerates in various enforcement cases against two UK based companies infringing trademarks in relation to the sale of flour.  
• acting for an Indian client in enforcement proceedings against a UK and Hong Kong based high-end shoe company for breach of design rights. 
• acting in opposition to proceedings filed before the European Union IPO in order to prevent a third-party registration of our client’s trademark, thereby protecting the international sale and distribution of incense and other related products.
